Dr. Tomasa Villaronga is a transformational leader, licensed mental health counselor, licensed minister and ministry leader with a passion for empowering young moms. Her personal journey of being a former teen mom gives her a unique level of compassion, relatability and understanding when serving teen moms navigating life’s challenges.
With extensive experience in mental health, leadership, ministry and women’s advocacy, Dr. Villaronga is committed to creating safe and supportive environments where teen moms can heal, grow and thrive. Having overcome obstacles firsthand, Dr. Villaronga was determined not to be another statistic. She understands the importance of providing access to resources that help young moms break cycles and build brighter futures for themselves and their children.
Known for her compassionate leadership style, Dr. Villaronga brings a powerful blend of clinical expertise, strategic vision, lived experience, faith and servant leadership to her work. She has dedicated her career to helping individuals overcome barriers related to trauma, mental health, substance abuse and life transitions while fostering resilience, self-worth, spiritual growth and personal transformation.
Dr. Villaronga holds a doctorate in strategic leadership and is recognized for her ability to inspire meaningful change within organizations and the communities they serve. In addition to her professional leadership, she actively serves in ministry and is passionate about helping women discover healing, identity and purpose. She is also a motivational speaker, mentor and advocate for women’s empowerment, using both professional and faith-based approaches.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Villaronga enjoys spending quality time with her two children and family, being near the water and is a self-proclaimed foodie. Her warm and witty personality, passion for people and heart for service continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of those she serves.
As the executive director of Hope House Florida, her mission is to help young women understand that their past does not define their future, and that motherhood can become a pathway to purpose, strength and legacy.
